The Editor's Bit

Notice something different this month? If you’re reading this online, probably not, but if you’ve got a paper copy in your hand, you are holding the very first edition of the Amsterdam Stun to be printed in full colour! We’ve got loads of photos from Elly’s 60th Birthday Party, so I thought I’d do something special for the woman I love, and sod the expense.

We haven’t decided if we will be printing the Stun in colour every month yet; it all depends on how this one goes. Usually, when we finish putting the Stun together, we can pick some up from the printers the same day, but this month, we’re going to have to wait for about a week before we get them.

Because of the longer production time, I’m writing this while last month’s crossword competition is still open for entries, so we can’t let you know who won yet. We’ll announce the winner in next month’s Stun.

It costs a bit more to print in colour, so we’ll have to take that into account before making a decision. A bit more revenue would help, so if you’ve got a bar, now would be a good time to start advertising in the Stun, before we’re forced to raise our prices.
