The Editor's Bit

Here we go with another Stun coming out in the middle of the month, but it was planned that way this time. Finish making it today, celebrate my birthday on Friday, maybe visit a few bars on Saturday, avoid the World Cup Final on Sunday and then start bringing this Stun around the bars early next week. Easy!

With all the World Cup madness to avoid around the bars, I didn’t get as many photo opportunities as I usually do, so this month’s Stun is a bit thinner than normal, although I did manage to include more music photos than I have of late. Elly is still sick, so no crossword again, but she’s getting better and hopes to have a new puzzle for you next month. Which kind bar owner/manager out there would like to donate a nice prize to go with it?

The start of the English Premier League season is getting closer, which means it’s time for another Premier Predictions League. There’s an entry form on page 23, but it’s a lot easier online - just fill in your details at www.amsterdamstun.com/prempred2014.php, drag & drop the teams into order and then click on the “Submit Entry” button to send it to us. Closing date is Friday 15th August 2014.
