No prizes for guessing what this month’s cover is about; it’s May, which means it’s time for the Amsterdam Sevens Rugby! Loads of burly men (and women) will be flying in for a weekend of prowess on the pitch and boozing in the bars. It’s always great fun, so I’ll be out and about with my camera and who knows, I might even go and watch a bit of rugby this year.

Talking about my camera; most of this month’s photos were taken with my new Lumix compact because it’s so much lighter than my big Nikon. I’ve been conserving my strength because this month’s Stun has four extra pages, so there will be more to carry when I take them around the bars. It doesn’t sound like much, but you certainly notice it when you’ve got 500 Stuns on the back of your bike.

So, why the four extra pages? King’s Day, for starters! We’ve got loads of photos from that, plus all of our usual photos from around and behind bars. The Live Around Amsterdam/What’s On pages are back, as is the Prize Crossword, where you can win a pitcher of beer and an hour of pool from the Poolhole. Elly and myself tried it out first, but you can read more about that in Elly’s Rants & Raves!
