The Editor's Bit

It’s August, so the domestic football leagues are kicking off a new season, bringing a return to football on TV in the bars of Amsterdam after a short break. It also brings a new Amsterdam Stun Premier Predictions League!

We’ve already got a few entries, but I’m sure they’ll come flooding in now that our resident football expert, Frank Weston, has revealed his predictions for the new season in Being Frank On Football on pages 24 & 25. If you would like to enter, full details are on page 27 and you have to get your entry in by Wednesday 31st August 2016 if you want to be in with a chance of winning 2 x €30 vouchers from Coco’s Outback.

For this month’s Cover Competition, I thought of going for why instead of where, but that might be too hard. It’s worth a try though, so why is the view on the cover related to August? I’ll give you a clue; the answer is mentioned in this Stun, but where? No prizes, but the first correct answer will get an Honourable Mention next month. You can also tell me where it was taken and if we don’t get any Why answers, the first correct Where will get an honourable mention (no caps).

I still haven’t decided on a new name for what were Elly’s pages, but for this month, they’re my Birthday Pages.
