The Editor's Bit

For the first time since before the first lockdown, I’m pleased to say that we’re back up to 24 pages for this month’s Stun. Now that all of the restrictions have been lifted, there’s a lot more life in the bars, so more opportunities for me to take photos.
I’m also pleased to say that the Poolbar and Bourbon Street have returned as advertisers, which will help me pay for the extra four pages, and put more gigs in the Gig List.
With Kings Day coming up, I wanted to give this month’s cover an Oranje theme, so taking inspiration from last month’s cover, where I photoshopped a green hat onto the statue of Vrouwe Fortuna, I hung my orange cap on a big hand.
It’s been a while since we last held a Cover Competition, so can you tell me where that big hand with my cap is located? As usual, there are no prizes, but you will get an Honourable Mention on this page next month.
Talking of headgear, I picked up a new Guinness hat during my Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl! We’ve got four pages with photos of the shenanigans, starting on page 14.
I think it’s safe to say that Kings Day will be very busy this year and I’ll be going round the bars with my camera, but I won’t be going to Café Oporto too early; I got stuck there in 2019, and again the day after Paddy’s Day this year, where a photo of me with Lizzie and Jen was taken with Lizzie’s Instax camera.
