The Editor's Bit

My sincere apologies to Kick Ass, who I saw playing in the Volta in April: I have no idea how the ‘ck’ became ‘ss’ in last month’s Stun, but I’ve changed it on our website and only hope it didn’t cause you too much pain.

I was going to write that on the What’s On/ Music page, but we haven’t got one this month.  Well, we have, sort of: I got carried away and filled it with stuff about this weekend’s Rugby Sevens Tournament, so I changed the title. I tried to give the rugby a page of its own, but even though we’ve got four pages more than last month, there was no space left. The gig list is still there, of course: I wouldn’t leave that out of The Stun.

So, what’s taking up all those extra pages?  Photos, loads of them. So many, in fact, that a lot of them are without captions, to fit more on each page. I still couldn’t fit them all in; sorry if you were on one of the pictures that didn’t make it. We’ve got seven pages of pictures from Queen’s Day, two from Queen’s Night, plus a leaving party, a re-opening party, an expat night and all of our usual picture pages, like Page Three, Round The Bars & Behind Bars.

At last, we have a winner in our Premiership Predictions League: The final table is on page 29, after Being Frank On Football.
