Less than four weeks between Stun’s? What’s happening? Our printers are going to be very busy in the run-up to Christmas and couldn’t guarantee anything after the 11th. The death of our roving reporter and good friend Hilton gave us extra impetus to get the Stun out early: we want to be at the Hilton Harford Memorial Jam in The End on Wednesday.

Hilton was probably in the Stun more than anybody else over the last 15 years, so it was difficult deciding which pictures to include in A Brief History of Hilton on pages 10 & 11. I will have a lot of pictures with me at the Memorial Jam, so if I’ve ever taken a picture of you with Hilton, come along and have a look through them. I’ll be giving some of the older photos away on the spot, and I can e-mail you copies of anything taken in the last 8 years.

For all of you waiting for the answers to our 15th Anniversary Crossword competition, they’re on page 26, along with this month’s crossword. A few of you have described our crosswords as “challenging” and “quite difficult”, which might explain why we didn’t get a single entry for the competition. Elly has made this month’s crossword easier, to give you a better chance of finishing it. Let us know what you think; we value your feedback.
