The Editor's Bit

We got a lot of nice comments about the cryptic nature of last month’s cover, but this one is a different kettle of fish. We went to Paris for Elly’s birthday and were planning to include a few pictures of our trip, which would have explained all, but we haven’t got them all yet. I put the film from Elly’s camera in for the supermarket two-day D&P, and we’re still waiting, 11 days later. Anyway, back to the cover: We were on a bus tour round Paris that included a trip to the top of the Tour Montparnasse.  Neither of us are good with heights, so we took a couple of pictures from the bottom and went for a drink instead.

Being in Paris meant we missed Koot’s party in the Flying Dutchman, but thanks to Richard & Tineke, we have some of the pictures for you on pages 22 & 23.

No Being Frank on Football this month.  Being a relatively football free summer, Frank is skipping a month, for the first time in over five years, but he’ll be back next month with his predictions for the coming season. We still have something for the footie fans: the entry form for the coming season’s Premiership Predictions League. It’s on page 31.

Lots of parties coming up this month and we’ll do our best to get to as many as possible, but we can’t make it to all of them, so send us some photos; they’re always welcome.
