The Editor's Bit

On this month’s cover, I only had enough room to describe Elly as the Amsterdam Stun’s artistic director, columnist, crossword compiler, photographer, advertising manager, proof reader… But she was so much more! She was the love of my life, best friend and muse; my reason for getting up in the morning and for not drinking too much when out working on the Stun, so that I could cycle home safely to Elly.

To commemorate Elly, I had 100 copies of a Special Memorial Edition of the Amsterdam Stun printed for family and special friends; there are a couple left, in case I forgot anybody. For everybody else, it is also available online at www.amsterdamstun.com/ellyspecial.php.

A few people have asked if I will continue to make the Stun and the answer is Yes! Elly wouldn’t have had it any other way.

With everything that’s happened, it’s taken me a bit longer than usual to finish this edition, but all of our usual stuff is here and I hope to be back to normal next month. Enjoy your Stun.
