The Editor's Bit

With no prizes up for grabs, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I wasn’t exactly flooded with entries for last month’s Cover Competition. Nobody entered by email or text, but one person said who it was when I gave them a copy of the last Stun and somebody else commented under my Facebook post announcing that the Stun was online, so a sort of Honourable Mention (first name only) goes out to Lesley and Alan for correctly naming it as a statue of Majoor Bosshardt from the Salvation Army, who did so much good work around the Red Light District.

I had a different statue in mind for this month’s cover but it would require me taking photos in daylight and its location would have put me in danger of ending up in a bar much earlier than is good for me, so I kept putting it off. In the end, I stumbled across another statue while I was out taking the last photos for this Stun and was quite pleased with the result, so...

For this month’s Cover Competition, all you have to do is tell me where the statue on this month’s cover is located; contact details are on page 2. All correct entries will get an Honourable Mention in this column next month, and if you can name the statue too, I’ll print your name bold.
