It’s taken a lot longer than I would have hoped, but we’ve finally made it to Amsterdam Stun Number 300! During the first lockdown, I did bring out an online edition of the Stun, but there’s no way number 300 would be online only; it’s such an important milestone! I did put some of the photos I took last October on the Stun’s Facebook page as No. 299.5, in case you’re wondering where they ended up.
For this month’s cover, I’ve spent the last eight months trying to think of something with 300 in it, with very little success, but with a bit of imagination, you can make out 300 in the artwork I took a photo of.
OK, for this month’s Cover Competition, I will give you an Honourable Mention in this column next month if you can tell me where the photo was taken.
Last season’s Premier Predictions League was won by Dave Wright but he got Rung to collect his prize, €60 in food/drink vouchers from Coco’s Outback, because due to travel restrictions, he’s unable to get here. Dave donated his prize to Frank, our football expert, who recently retired from Hotel Victoria.
The full final PPL table is on page 5 and we’re pleased to announce that Coco’s Outback will also be sponsoring us for the 2021/2022 season. The entry form will be online soon so keep an eye on our Facebook page and group for the latest news.
We’ve got most of our usual stuff here this month, although the surprise easing of lockdown measures from the 26th June means our Gig List is a bit sparse but I hope that doesn’t stop you from enjoying your Stun.
