The Editor's Bit

I’m sure it won’t come as too much of a surprise to regular readers of this column that nobody entered last month’s Cover Competition. Paula told me that she was determined to get it, but didn’t get back to me, so I presume she failed to identify the location. The statue on the last cover (Summer) can be found in the Artis zoo.

For this month’s Cover Competition, all you have to do is tell me where the statue is located. Instead of blue skies or foliage, there’s a street scene in the background this month, so I hope that makes it a bit easier. As usual, there’s an Honourable Mention to the first person with the correct answer, and maybe a few other Mentions if we get multiple entries. Contact details are on page 2, or you can tell me in person if you meet me in a bar, but if that’s the case, make sure I write it down because I can be a bit forgetful.

If anybody would like to donate real prizes for any of our competitions, contact me! I’m sure most of our readers would prefer something tangible over an Honourable Mention.

One competition where we do have REAL prizes is our annual Premier Predictions League, sponsored by Coco’s Outback. There are 4 x €15 vouchers for food +/or drink to be won if you can predict where more of the 20 teams in the English Premier League will finish the season than your fellow competitors.
